Yes, you're nuts! You've already been to school for nursing, and you already have a job in it. A lot of computer jobs are being outsourced to India, so the computer field probably isn't too stable. The medical field is something that'll never go out of business, and it can't be outsourced. Not to mention the salary.
I'd stay in the medical field. It's lucrative, in-demand, and can't be outsourced.

When my cousin was in college, he was majoring in the law field, but then he didn't like the looks of it, so he changed colleges, and majored in entertainment. He graduated several years ago, and now he can't even make a living with it! Now he owes a ton of money to the school, and he has to go back to college for another career, this time majoring in the medical field.
So do whatever you want, but be sure you can earn a living at it. |
