I'm 16, nearly 17 and trying to find a job, which is pretty hard [I'm in the UK if it helps].

I've tried at a hotel in town.I gave a CV and they said for me to come back and speak with the head house keeper because I'm looking into catering/domestics in the hotel if possible. She wasn't in when I went back, but I spoke to someone just beneath her who said she'd pass my details on, and I gave her another CV.

I waited today for a phone call but never got one, so I phoned the hoteland asked them, they said to call back at 10 when the head housekeeper should be able to speak with me, thenhopefully go from there.

I also have an interview on Wed and some places have said they will consider me - there have been a further 2 after this.

Anyway; this is my CV, obviously I have taken out my private details.

I am at Newcastle College re-sitting my GCSE’s; Mathematics, Biology, Sociology and Business Studies. I have chosen to take on Business Studies and Sociology as from this I will gain an extra three GCSE’s as my Business Studies is Applied and Dual Award.

Skills and Abilities
I am a very keen worker, I am very eager to please. I am very reliable, and have good time –keeping. Attendance is 100% along with punctuality. I am a team player; I do not mind working in a large group to achieve aims, nor do I mind working alone. Work Experience
I worked at a Primary School from 30th May 2008 until 4th June 2008 as a receptionist; dealing with phone calls and paper work. As a class assistant; dealing with the younger pupils and helping during lesson time, helping other members outdoors in the playground to keep the area tidy alongside the caretaker, and indoors alongside the Head Mistress to ensure all pupils were seen to and taken care of in classrooms on daily visits. I also helped in the Front Office with small clerical jobs such as filing and shredding.
