| This is my first week at my first "real" job out of college. I work at a professional staffing firm. Here is what went down today. We are required to put in 9 hour days. I got in at 730am and left at 430pm thinking I put my 9 hours in I should be good and everyone leaves at 5pm. One of the account managers calls me and asks why I'm leaving and I say I got there at 730 and did my 9 hours. He responds with "we all work till 5" and I ask if I should come back to which he responds with "no." I apologize for the misunderstanding. Then he puts another account manager on the phone who asks me if "I'm working from home tonight" (which I guess is pretty standard for this job). I respond with "probably not." He then asks if I have a call sheet for tomorrow and I did. He says I should call them first thing in the morning which I planned on anyway and told him so. Am I going to be fired? |
