Talk to your supervisor. Believe me, if they've invested the time to hire you and train you, they don't want to see you just walk out the door. They've already started investing time and money in you. They want to you succeed, otherwise they're going to have to go through the process of finding and hiring someone else.
So, go in with the attitude and belief that they want you to succeed. Let your supervisor know that you feel something is missing in the training. Be as specific as you can about whatever information or training you think is missing so they can address it and help you get to where you can perform on your own. They can't help if you don't give them feedback on what you need.
Try making a list of what you think you can do on your own and what you think you still need more training on. Don't quit. You may be closer to success than you realize.
Take a deep breath and ask for the help that you need. Good luck. |
