If you do something you hate every workday for a few hours, it cannot be healthy and is bound to affect you.
Dont waste you so much precious time of your life on something you dont want to do, use the time to think about what you would like to do and then commit yourself to achieve that.
Having success in a job is one thing, but being satisfied with your life and choices and being proud of yourself, is another.
And dont tell me you dont want to look in the mirror in the morning and say to yourself "I did the right thing and this will be a great day".

Your are probably very comfortable with your job. This is why you are afraid to leave it. But hating a place that you spend at least 8 hours a day at is not healthy mentally or physically.

You need to think about what is best for you.

This is what i did @ my last job - i took a leave of absence w/ no pay once i started my new job & if the job i was on turned out to be something i didn't like then i would quit that job & go back & do the same thing until i found something that satisfied my career path w/o loosing a job that i know i can do very well. Trust i know exactly what you are going thru
