ok so ive been offerd a trail of a job, which is not what i thought it was when i applied but it seems okish but the major down side is the hours (10 hour days monday to thrusday...9hours Friday and 8Hours Saturday with sundays off and one week day off every 2weeks) ...so i have a weeks trail and then they decide if they want to keep me on. But if they offer me the job my issue is do i take it? .. by the looks and sounds of things the people who work there are very "work minded" they have no life and not alot eles matters, the interview gave me an example of one of her workers and she had no life, no friends and basically just worked! i have a life, a girlfriend, a family and friends i dont wana lose all of that?

so to sum it up i want a job as a stop gap till i can get to what i really wana do which is a youth worker! so do i take this job after the weeks trail for as long as i can hack it? ...or look for another job with better hours?

the pay is 1250 per month before tax! ... i could find pay like that somewhere eles right?

That's 57 hours in week one then 47 hours in week 2 - a total of 208 hours over 4 weeks. If you get paid every 4 weeks then it works out at £6 an hour. If you are desperate then a job is a job, but that is poor pay for long hours.
