Hi, I just graduated at the top of my class from my Medical Office Assistant school. I worked my butt off, got excellent grades, and now I'm ready to work! I've sent out so far 30 applications. I've got 2 interviews lined up next week. One is for a Veterinary Receptionist position at an Animal Hospital, the other is for a Medical Records Clerk at a Psychiatric & Substance Abuse Care Facility. Animals are my passion in my life, so I always want to be around them. But the other thing is that in this day and age the will to survive and support yourself, is well kinda stronger.

I live around Buffalo, NY and I seem to be getting conflicted salaries. I'm just wondering which makes more. And really what are the best questions to ask an employer for both positions, and what questions can I be expected to answer?

I already plan to ask the medical coverage for both positions. My dad wants to retire soon, so at least he'd only have to worry about my brother, and if I can take care of myself, well that would be just great.
