Default How to land secretary/receptionist jobs?

Right now my resume is retail shops with a year or so of management experience. I'm organized and I'm very computer literate. My aunt suggested that I look at the idea of getting into being a secretary or receptionist with the skills that I have.
How do you break into that field? I'm confused about where to start and how to alter my resume to fit my job search.

Secretarial is fun and with experience you can easily earn 50K a year.

Consider looking in your yellow pages under Employment - Temporary.
A temporary agency will get you the experience you need.
You will get assignments anywhere from 2 weeks to 6 months.
At every job, you will learn, learn, learn.
In a few years, you'll become extremely valuable to any company.

Retail is fun - but it doesn't really get you anywhere in 40 years.
