Default if an employee is hired with a 90 day probation and then retained with a raise when

are they due a raise? is the raise due on the date of hire or on the date they were made permanent with raise.

That depends entirely on the agreement between the two parties, which should be included in the contract the employee signed when they started. In some cases, the raise is effective upon passing probation, or it could be retroactive to the start date. in other cases it is effective in six months, or on the first year anniversary. If this is not described in the contract, or if you have a question about the terms described, ask the supervisor or HR manager for the information.
