Type, they'll give you a page to type out! Their looking for speed and the least amount of mistakes as possible. None if you can help it! They'll time you for one minute to see how many words you can type. Then they'll look for mistakes the less you have the better it is for you. The more words you can type per minute is also best for you. That's how I got my job many years ago, took a one minute typing test. I typed 65 words in one minute and no mistakes, I was hired on the spot.

Probably type up a memo or do some transcription, where they will hand you a written or typed page that you'll then have to type into the computer. They may even test you on your words per minute and 10-key speed using a program that they have in the office.

They will give you something to type and based on your speed and accuracy will determine your speed. The best thing to do is be able to type without looking at the keyboard. The other thing you may want to know how to do is use Microsoft word. I'd suggest practicing a little with something from the business section that has words, numbers, and symbols in it so you utilize all sections of the keyboard. Good luck
