Default llc in another state,?

hello, due to recession and lack of work i have began concentrating on the stock market and have picked up a great deal, i live in new york and opened a llc in wyoming, i am going to be using an online brokerage and needed a bank account to transfer funds, i am the sole member but however the bank said in order to open a wyoming account in new york i need a cpa letter stating i wont be conducting business in new york, which i wont! but the accountant has told me what im doing is illegal? i am confused and just trying to keep my head above water in these hard times, any advice or tips would be appreciated!
