Okay, I just started working @ Macy's. I'm a little lost about the employee discount. How does it work?

Since I'm an employee, am I able to purchase something @ Macy's "with cash" and get 10% off or do I have to use my Macy's card?

Also if I have to use my card how can my family members get a discount from Macy's since I work there? If I have to use my card...then it isn't much of a discount then. I read that the discount is this "they take 10% off your bill" .

You have to use the Macy's card, otherwise they would have to pay a fee to the credit card company.
