Default After bombing an interview, should I send an unconventional thank you letter?

It's for an entry-level position at a major bank. My past experience is above average and I did really well at a networking event with the recruiters-however the interview sucked.

I made the terrible mistake of not printing out my resume until 10 minutes before the interview (in same building at least) and the printer was messing up all the margins. I tried to fix it but the interview time quickly approached and I barely made it on time as a result of this (with a resume with a half inch taken off from the right!). Of course this set met off my game a little bit as well.

So I'm probably screwed but any suggestions on a thank you letter? Should I be completely unconventional and admit to the bad interview or anything?

Thanks!
