Default Minimum wage for a 15 year old (UK)?
Im 15 and thinking of working in somerfeild (suoermarrket)
does anyone know the minimum of how much there allowed to pay me hourly?

You may have to wait until you are 16. As at 1st October 2009 the minimum wage for 16 & 17 year olds is £3.57 per hour. (Known as young person's rate). Jan

You may not work for any company at all,,,only paper rounds... till you are 16. You should be at school full time,,, not working .

They won't employ you there is no minimum wage for someone of your age.

They don't hire anyone under compulsory school leaving age, which means when you have officially left year 11. It's the same in every supermarket or high street store in the UK. Minimum wage doesn't start until this age either, if you work before this age they can pay you what ever they like!
