| I don't have any banking experience. its my 1st job. the job is not related to what I want to do in finance...i do management information right now and I want to do financial analysis. So should I stay in the job or look for another. My past experience is 2-3 months at 1 bank as a temp and 2-3 months doing internship at another big name firm. that's all. Should I stay or look somewhere else? Money is not really a big deal for me but its really low. they pay me like $15000/year! I've done BBA and CFA 1. I just feel insulted and de-motivated at this salary when I've studied so much. But the name is big and I have no experience. |

| I'm in the same boat like you. I have a BBA in finance and couldn't find a job in the field yet. 1. You continue to stay at the job and wait for better jobs offered at the bank. Since money is not a big deal to you ... 2. Insurance agent? 3. Find some internships. Because to be a CFA, you need to have 3 yrs of financial experience. I think you are on the right track so far of pursuing CFA license. Having this license will enable you to find jobs more easily than having just a BA. |
