Yesterday, I asked someone at Applebee’s if they were hiring and if I could have an application. She said that I could apply online, but after I do, that I call either of the 2 managers and be persistent. Okay, so this morning I applied. I was surprised to see how short it was; basically just needing my contact information and job history, and that was it. Anyway, I plan going there tomorrow and talking to them, but for anyone who has worked or applied at Applebee’s before, do they generally only hire people with prior experience? I ask because I don’t have any. I’m scheduled to begin college for Culinary Arts next year. I don't know if that would improve my chances, having not started yet but I would just like some experience before I do. Also, would this be a good place to ask if I could job shadow for a day or 2?
