Ok, so a little while back (say November of 2008) I had a job at Chick-Fil-A. I was so happy to have that job, but the only reason I wanted it was to buy a new cell phone. So I worked there from November 2008 to January 2009, that's when my mother had already bought me a new phone that I had wanted, so I found it pointless to continue working at CFA. So it was one rainy day when I had to go to work, my mom and dad were at work and I had no ride to work (couldn't drive back then, no license). So I missed work, and enjoyed my day off... then days after that I just never showed back. Now its November 2009 and I know I've be fired or terminated because they sent me my last check in the mail for $45. I KNOW i messed up my future chances of getting another job because I never went back to say I quit. Now since I'm a Junior and need money for things like class rings and other necessities, I need a new job. I applied at like 20 different places in the past 4 months... no response. I feel like I'll NEVER be able to get another job. I'm so disappointed in myself. What should I do?! I'm 16 btw and have been in JROTC for 3 years, had a perfect attendance award and am quite good at Accounting so I sound good for a basic fast food job.

you was fired for no call no show. but this is not what is keeping you unemployed. you are. you do not have a positive attitude when you walk into an establishment. you are nervous and they can sense this if you are talking with a manager. if you are dragging your a** going in they will see that you are not in a hurry. so why would i want to hire you? you have to be dressed well look aware and try to show some type of speed
