Default Can a Physician Assistant own a private practice?

By this I mean, can a PA own the private practice, but still have a supervising physician and work at his/her own practice. And if anyone happens to know offhand, about how much does it cost to start a primary care private practice?

I don't think so. I think a Nurse Practitioner could though.
