...to collect.? My ex-spouse died and I found out that he has a lot of creditors trying to collect money from years past that I didn't know about. I don't know what I can do to let them know. I started to call them but they kept telling me that his kids or next of kin had to do this and I told them that the kids are minors and I very much doubted that his brothers would take care of this. My 10 year old had to sign for his father's death certificate because they would not give me one, the only one I could get would have For Information Only written across and I needed one original to take to the Social Security Office to set up my kids paper work. Is there an easier way to do this or someone who can give some advice on what to do. Thank you everyone.
