5 years ago i got a misdemeanor for petty theft in CA, at the time i was young and stupid. I was working for job at Las vegas N.V. for about five months before i started i had to do a back ground check for that state and a fingerprint, which takes about one month to receive. I was working for about three months and i was told something pooped up on my background which was the misdemeanor, so the company told me to pay about 25 dollars to get my arrest records so they can see what i did but i told them what i did and they said i was fine if it was about five years ago and if it had nothing to do with criminal or violence. two months later they told me they had to let me go because of my background. To be honest on my application i put i never had a misdemeanor or felony because for some reason i didn't know it was going to be on my background. after that long. The company lied to me they said i was fine if it was five years ago but they fired me. On monday i have a interview and i'm worried. I was a hard worker i did excellent on my evaluation.
