Default I have a problem with my wrist and don't have insurance anymore, what can I do!?

I have a 6 year old wrist injury, a break that didn't heal properly and has been causing me lots of pain. I was getting it looked at and had to cancel my insurance before the problem was resolved, or even diagnosed. I had x-rays and an MRI both showing nothing according to the orthopedic. He gave me Naproxen for anti-inflammation (which didn't do anything to relieve the pain) and told me to come back. I'm not on insurance anymore and would like to follow up and get this problem resolved. Is there anything I can do? It's seriously hindering my life and career.
