I am already license with a series 7 and life,health and variable annuity, I have close to 2 years of work experience and I am looking to work independently, I'm pretty new with this but I would like to work independently, where do I apply? how do I get hired? basically what's the progress?

In Illinois you contact dept. of insurance first. Look for a bigger company and hook on with them until you get what your after. Let thyem help you out.
