Default Workers Comp Question?

My husband has hip dislocation in both of his hips and his employers are aware of this. His boss continues to place him in the most strenuous position in the plant, regardless of his hip issues. My husband is worried that he will hurt himself doing this work. I would like to know what would happen if he was to fall or something since they will not place him in a better suited position. Because he already has the hip problems would he be ineligible for workers comp? This is very stressful and I am very worried, any advice would be great. Thanks.

He's not automatically ineligible, just because he has a preexisting condition.

But aside from medical bills, it could seriously complicate the claim.

I'd suggest he needs to find a new job - with a lot less physical stress.
