Okay, so I'm starting a scholarship... I need to know what to put in a sort of disclaimer... Basically I don't want to be held liable if anything goes wrong (it's my company that's hosting the scholarship) and ALL the scholarship money comes from donations, and I want to be able to list who won and what school they go to, and I want to be able to have MY panel of judges pick who wins, regardless of any "anythings" that make someone think they deserve it more than someone else, etc...
There's an essay contest and there will be a form to submit... I need to know how to say that when they donate money or apply for the scholarship, they don't have a say on who wins or how the winners are chosen, and by applying it doesn't mean they will win, and if they apply in the future, it doesn't mean they'll win then even if they win now, etc...
BUT I need it all in the form of a legal disclaimer type thing...
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.
How am I "risking my job" if I own the company?
I know I need legal help, which is why I'm on here... You'd think one or two lawyers would be hanging out randomly answering stuff. *shrug* ... ... I HAVE an attourney, but I don't know if he'd help with this. *shrug*
