I was offered a position just this past monday. My future "boss" asked me to call her after I gave my two weeks notice to my current boss because she wanted me to confirm my start date. So I gave my current boss notice and she was fine with the date that I was leaving. So I called my future boss twice and left her a message on her cell phone yesterday (Tuesday). THEN I called her office and her cell phone each once and left a message on her office phone. I don't understand why I can't get a hold of her. And when I called her cell phone once today it seemed like someone answered and hung up right away so I wouldn't leave a message. I don't know, I know I'm freaking out a bit but I just gave notice at a job I've had for 3 years and I have yet to hear back from this woman. If she suddenly decided to not offer me the job I could sue her right? We had a verbal contract right?
