im interested in being a police explorer, but im not sure what it quite entails. im 15, 9th grade, female, florida. i found the site for my area but it doesnt go into detail at all. and before i go ahead and go down to the station/office i want to know a little more. any idea on what happens there? can it help me get the position of an officer or is it useless as i hear? and also if i have a civil case charge of possession of marijuana, will that effect my eligibility for not only the explorer program, but being a police officer in general? thank you.
