Default Do I have to go to college to become an attorney?

What state(s) could I just take (and pass) the bar exam and be an attorney? Is North Carolina a state that I could just pass the bar and be a lawyer?

I know this might sound crazy...but in order to be a lawyer you need 4 year degree, plus 3+ years of law school then you might be able to pass the bar...
