| I just quit my job. I had been working there for about a month and a half. My employer is refusing to pay me. Before I take this to a higher power, I was wondering...Am i entitled to pay when my employer asked me to be at the store at say, 9:00, and he didn't show up until 12:00? Am I entitled to three hours of pay? I never asked him about it (he isn't the kind of guy you can comfortably talk to) |

| Am i entitled to pay when my employer asked me to be at the store at say, 9:00, and he didn't show up until 12:00? generally NO, in a few (very, very few) states there is a reporting time law that may, or may not, cover this particular circumstance......... as far as your employer refusing to pay you that is another issue. in MOST states when you quit you must be paid by the regular pay-day for the last pay-period you worked. |
