Actually, the common name for this position in *most* supermarkets is "Stocker." As with all jobs...they are packing more and more duties upon sole positions. So nowadays places like Kroger, Publix, etc. use their stockers to also change prices. The manager responsible for these prices is also sometimes called a Pricing Coordinator.
Usually prices are downloaded from a corporate system to store computers - not manually changed by a person in the stores themselves. The little handheld devices are referred to as scanguns, LRT's, price guns, etc.
