| strange showed? hi ^^ 2 weeks ago on a sunday someone called me saying they were from my corp office and that they needed to send me some information on benefits. They said theyd been getting good reviews about me and it seemed legit. it was a sunday long day at the store and my mind got excited so i got stuped. he got my address and phone number then asked me wat my car looked like, saying he was going to send me a sticker or something. so i told him my car model but her asked for my license plater number and i was like no.... few days ago someone showed up saying they used to work for my company idk he was right he seemed like a customer but idk... we talked a few like regular customer sales associate would... idk wat to do... ive done a few surveys and thiings on mysurvey.com which is suppossed to be legit. but ive blocked alll my accounts like that now and checking emails closely idk wat i should do. i told my boss about the call and she told me to be worried cause no one would called me on a sunday about that an they should get all my info from hr |

| OK. First of all, don't give any information like that over the phone again. Secondly, you might want to let your HR rep know about this because it might be happening to other people. Then you probably should contact the police and just explain the situation to them. Also, if you're working in a mall, you might ask your store manager to alert security about this situation. Ask that a guard walk you to your car at night. Be very alert during the day as well. If anything weird happens (I mean ANYTHING) contact security. Trust your instincts about this. Don't be afraid to make a mistake. Good luck. Also, people like this don't operate in a vacuum. He (the weirdo) has probably done this before. So you may find that the police, or mall security have had similar reports. Good luck and stay safe! Also, let your co-workers know what happened, so they can be alert too. |
