Default Thank You letters for an NBA team?

I went to a job fair this weekend in Nashville. I am getting ready to graduate in May and I have an internship as the marketing and promotions intern for my universities athletic department. I was getting angry at the job fair because every sports team was looking for internships and I really don't want to do another one. It was already past the end time of the fair and I decided to stand in one last line. I got up to the gentleman. I shook his hand and said my name. Told him I was an intern and a few other experiences I have and asked about jobs. He said they were hiring in May, and asked me for my resume. I handed it to him and he gave me an interview on the spot! I don't know how I did it but I wonderful. He handed me his business card and said keep in touch, e-mail me in Jan. and kept repeating his name. This is for an NBA/NHL team.

So now I am wanting to write a thank you letter. I need to make it short and simple. I am thinking about saying "It was a pleasure meeting you at the career fair. I am interested in the inside sales rep. position with your company. I will keep in touch. Sincerely, me"

What is your insight?
