When you apply for a white collar job, do they check your insurance history?
...and then if they see that insurance covered you being in a mental hospital do they think "oh this person must be crazy" and not hire you?

In the U.S., that's illegal. Your medical records are not releasable or discussable with anyone other than your doctor, without your prior consent.
