Default Is it true that when you have a career and earn a lot of money, you can't spend

much of it for yourself? I'm 20 years old and my dream is to be a surgeon and earn a lot of money and travel all over the world and buy some really fast cars. But my teacher said that when you have a job, you can't really spend the money for yourself. How true is that?
