Can I work the same hours as a 16 year old, if I'm only a month away from being 16?

I'm applying for a job and since I'm only 1 month away from being 16 (Bday: January 7th) I wanted to know if I could work the same hours as a 16 year old.

I live in California and theres specific hours a minor can work so thats why I'm asking..
