Default My year lease expired and I moved out the day it expired landlord says I need...

...to give 30day notice? My lease states after the year we enter into month to month then a 30 day notice is due how ever I did not go pass my year lease date and believe that I do not have to give notice because I was only held to that landlord for the one year as stated on the lease

You are incorrect. The way the contract is written (at least every rental contract I've ever seen) is that unless one party officially gives notice, the year lease is _automatically_ converted to a month to month. Since you did not provide notice, the landlord could legally assume that you intended to stay. Thus, you will probably owe your landlord rent for the one month after you left, I'm sorry to say.
