Basically my mum and her boyfriend recently split up and he has moved out of the council flat he has been living and renting in for the last 20 years. Now he wants to move in with his new girlfriend and stop being the tenant here. Me, my 2 brothers and my mum have been living in the flat with him for 5 years going on 6. Its a 2 bedroom flat in Stratford London. Im 21 and my other 2 brothers are 18 and 16, they have just started college and uni in the area and i've just managed to get myself a new job. If my mums ex does leave the tenancy will we be forced to move out or is there a chance we can take the tenancy over from him?.
