Default When getting Back Links for my site should I consider what type of sites are

linking to me? I'm about to launch my website and have already set a routine for 2 hours a day trying to get as many back links to my site as possible. The question is, should I only get back links from similar sites or from as many as possible irregardless of what those sites are about?

Obviously I will be cautious of not getting back links from adult or otherwise problematic sites, I mean more in lines of say: my site is about pets - if I get back links from a site about iphones would that cause SEO problems?

You want to get as many backlinks as possible but you want to keep them in the same category. Like you said, you do not want to link from a phone website to a pet website.

The page rank should also be considered. I also have a pet site. message me if you want to discuss linking.

Nope. Wrong answer. Don't use link scout or any other "link building" software, directory or service.

Google frowns heavily upon Link Farms - which all link services are.

You have to do the work to get the good results. Personally chose and pick who you want to email to offer a link request to and make sure it is within your site theme and / or industry.

Add the links manually and check them monthly. If you don't care enough about your business to work on it properly, then you won't get the results you are looking for.

First off, you do not want just just any back links! Stick with links that would be related to your wesite and products and services. Any links about pet products, pet info and services etc.

Top ones to get would be :

Veterinarians, pet clothing, pet supplies, even pet shops! But be sure to check the websites out first! See how good there ratings are etc. Even zoo's could be even good. What ever the back links are, be sure they match well with your website or you will wish you had! I have been in the internet business since 2001 and had made a few not so good choices, but I have learned well from my mistakes. And never pay for any back links, trade links only!

And once you get back links set up, keep an eye on them to see if there hurting your business or helping your business. Don't get too many back links either, just the most important ones that will help your website thrive to getting much more visitors to your website.

And to give your new website a faster boost, I would recommend getting yourself a advertising marketing suite to save you tons of advertising costs and save you much of your time from having to constantly be advertising. In website business your fr.ee time ends up being eatten up, when it need not be. You can check it out here: http://cashnsave.linkscout.com/index.cfm?Page=Signup

The day you open your website onto the internet, be sure to get your website listed right away in Yahoo,Google and Bing search engines. Be sure to have your keywords for your website in your main page at least 3 times, one in the begining area, the middle of the page and near the end of the page. more then 3 times can actually hurt you in the search engines. Hope you have a great success.
