Default Filing an Unemployment Claim?

I am wanting to file a claim through unemployment but i know that my bosses will probably oppose of it and get mad. I was originally hired as a full time employee, then my hours got reduced from 8hrs a day to 5, then from 5hrs it went to 4. Ive asked them over and over for my hours back or if i could get more hours but nothing has changed.
Since I work part time i have to file a partial claim which requires the employer to fill out a form weekly before i can recieve any benefits.
What do i do if my employer doesnt agree with me getting unemployment?
What if they dont want to sign the form?
Should I be worried about what they say?
Should I ask them if I can file unemploymet?
What should i do?

Someone pls advise,
thanks in advance.

File your claim. Let them get mad, though they probably won't. The state will decide if you're eligible and a major cut in hours may well enable you to collect partial benefits. It's not as if your employer was paying the benefits directly to you although their unemployment insurance tax rate may go up a bit because of it.
