Default If a 16 year old starts a sole proprietorship will he have to pay taxes? If so how?
What I mean by how is that I know a sole proprietorship taxes are paid with the business owners taxes, but a 16 year old does not pay taxes.

A 16 year old most certainly does have to pay taxes.

If you are self-employed and your income is over $400 for the year, you are required to file a return.......and pay.
