was wondering how long it would take for the tax lien to show up on my credit report??????

If you can make the payment, just go in and make it. If you can't make payments according to the original agreement, but can do something, go in and tell they you need to modify it and why.
They might not get on your case for awhile, but.....once they do, it won't be pretty.
