| Working 40 hours per week minimum, then working additional hours at home and on weekends (avg. about 60). - Have other people getting recognition while you get none - even though you pull their a** out of the fire. - Being denied comp time for working more than 40 hours per week. - Not getting any fringed benefits that other people in your same position at other companies get. - Micromanaged and forced to multitask until the point where the quality of your work sufers. - Required to work with offshore people who talk a different language around you but always come to you when they need help. (And even they get more recognition than you) - Interrupted like 10 times per day to help with other projects that never officially get assigned to you. I could go on, but how much of a salary would you take to accept a job this stressful ? My job is stressing me out and I'm debating whether I should just deal with it even though the salary is good. FYI - I could definitely find another job but I would be starting from scratch. Is anything wrong with just contracting ? |
