How rare are part-time programming jobs, like with video game development or software development/maintenance (not talking website development, though)? Like for someone who is interested in that field but doesn't have the time for a full-time job? Or do employers instead opt for full-time mostly, I guess to cut down on employee counts or something like that?
I'm mostly interested in learning about positions that would allow for 25-30 work hour weeks or something like that, understandably the money would be far better full-time but the income would be supplementary, the family wouldn't be surviving on it.
