I want to be computer scientist but im concerned about first getting a batchelors and then a phd?

On the other hand accountancy would'ent be as hard as computer science but i got more interest in computer science and it seems like it would pay more than accontancy? does anyone know if any of this is true and what are the average salaries of an accountant an computer scientist in the uk?
