Default Attention Engineers!!!?

Hey, engineers, tell me this:

Does systems engineering come under mechanical engineering or electrical engineering?

All the unviersities I'm applying to have it as it's own distinct field. Like civil, and material, and electrical, and mechanical, etc...

It's an interdisciplinary field. It can be comprised of both, and more. By no means is it "under" either of the fields you've mentioned.

It can come under both........if you want killer credentials..........do a mechanical/electrical engineering...........that is impressive........
