Default Do I have to learn Linux or Cisco to become a Systems Admin/Engineer?

In almost 80% of job postings anymore, I see the requirement to know Cisco or Linux or be familiar with it. I have never needed or worked in any environment that uses either and learning either on my own to me is pointless since real world experience is more important and both are difficult to learn without anyone to back you up or assist you. I have my MCSE, and bachelors and 5 years IT experience, and I've taken courses in both Cisco and Linux, but is it possible to get a job anymore with just an MCSE or just knowing Microsoft products such as SQL, ISA, and exchange? I really don't want to get into Linux since I think it's a complete waste of time since MS can be used in any environment, and Cisco isn't used much around here. Any input would be nice!
