| ...programming, please? I would like to know more about web design classes, and how it is as a temporary and possible long term career. I have taken classes in C++ programing and was good at it, and I enjoyed it. I have also been thinking graphic design, I'm pretty creative and can draw alright--but I will admit that I'm not the best at drawing. People who already work in the field, or are taking classes would be very much appreciated if they answered this. ![]() |

| C++ is not the best language to use when tackling the web. I would recommend you to learn PHP web programming - and if you like - then you can approach web. In regards to creativity - drawing is simply not enough when it comes to web - you have to really grasp the needs of your projects and abide by guidelines as well (Web standards, CMS restrictions, SEO restrictions...etc...) If you are lost in your career selection, I also suggest the following test that helps you assess your qualifications: http://www.careercconline.com/Request-the-Birkman-Questionnaire |
