in GIS plus 2 years work exp.? I have a 4 year B.S. degree in Geographic Information Systems. I love working on 3D Analysis projects. I have been doing this kind of work and Google SketchUp for the last 2 years. I am interested in working in the video game industry perhaps creating maps or levels. Do you have any ideas how I can get a job in this industry?

You can go to the web sites for the major (and minor) game design companies to look at their available job postings to see the requirements listed for current openings. You can get their addresses while you are at the sites - it can't hurt to send a letter of interest even if no jobs are posted just to see if they will set up an informational interview with you.

Stay in GIS as there are more job openings and more stable.
