What do you see yourself doing in 10 years? Both fields are great!
1. The baby boomers are getting older. So, health inf. sys. is good.

2. The field of supply chain management has global opportunities.

Honestly, I would choose supply chain management as a major, but I would minor is something related and more pacific to compliment the major. Perhaps packaging, business operations, international trade, a foreign language, or something in communications and networks.

To figure out the best major and minor to take do some hands-on by considering the following:

Consider doing work (for no pay) with an organization that uses one or the other of these fields for some experience and advice. Most company managers would be impressed with your desire to learn and this would give you an inside on the fields.
