I've always wanted to be a designer, but its technology that has always fascinated me most. My friends said the other day that I should look into becoming a User Experienced Architect but I really have no idea what thats all about. Does anyone know a place that can educate me on what User Experienced Architecture is?

The job title User Experience Architect is just one of the names given to this discipline - others are User Interface Designer, Interaction Designer, Information Architect. I'm one of these people, so I can tell you it's a fun discipline if you like technology, like explaining things to people and making things easier to use, and are driven crazy by badly designed software and websites. Here are a bunch of links that will tell you more: http://www.uxmag.com/ http://www.uie.com/articles/ http://www.ixda.org/en/ http://www.goodexperience.com/ http://www.boxesandarrows.com/

Wikipedia has a pretty good article regarding user experience design (I know I've replaced the word 'architect' with 'design', but they refer to the same general area of study). As a user experience architect, you'd be in charge of influencing how the user interacts with a product or system, such as what they see and feel, how they use the product, etc. If you like the idea of combining design + technology, studying user experience design/information technology would be a great way to go because they all involve some amounts of aesthetic design and technology.
