| 1. Did you have any experience in your field before you started you current job? If so, did your first employer look down upon not having experience? 2. What specific title/degree/certificates do you hold. And how long did it take you to complete them? 3. Is the work you do mainly concerning the degree you hold or are you spread over different fields of study? 4. Besides working for a school, what other types of business did you consider working at? Were there a range to choose from or was it hard to find a job in your field? 5. At your current employment do you work a 40 hour work week? Is Over time required and how often? Also, is your pay hourly or a base pay? 6. Do you feel that because of how fast computer technology changes you must continue schooling to keep up with the industry? 7. Does your employer provide seminars or training courses for new or updates on technology? How often if so? And if not provided by employer do you attend on your own? 8. What do your daily job duty's entail? 9. Do you have alot of face to face interacting with people or is your main comunication over email, telephone or other means? 10. Do you have any health issues because you are at a computer all day? I.E. carpel tunnel syndrome, back problems, vision etc...( are you at a computer all day? Do you stay in an office setting or travel around) 11. Are you still stimulated with your job or does the work seem repetitive day after day? 12. Are there any recommendations you have, or any information you think I should know about the field? Please feel free to ad a section of your own thoughts. Anything I didn't ask. |
